Noodles for Chicken

Another funny incident happened in class. We were reading about unique traits of chickens, and one of the unique traits is how chickens eat noodles. Most people would think they would just pick at the noodles, but what they do is pick up one end of the noodle, and then, without biting, just slowly swallow the noodle until the whole noodle is gone.

So I asked the teacher, "This is a joke right? Chickens don't eat noodles, do they?"

The teacher said, "Of course they eat noodles." And then she gave me this look like I was crazy to have doubted the book.

Wow, Chinese chickens really get it good. Not only do they get seed, but they also get noodles. This means that someone has to hand make the noodles first, and then feed it to the chickens. What luxury. Poor chickens in the states. They are missing out.

I think the chicken in China were thinking they are eating worms, the earthworms that is. Next time try to feed a worm to the chicken and they can't tell the difference I am sure.
