Many Apples a Day

So I have been participating in the "Consume the Apples Before They Go Bad" challenge. In one day, Alvin and I were able to use more than half of the apples.

We ate apples as our mid-afternoon snack along with Handmade Farmhouse Cheddar Cheese. Oh my gosh, this cheese is so good. The cheese just started making its appearance in the local import store recently, and my friend highly recommended it knowing how much I like cheese. It is the best cheddar cheese I have ever had. Does anyone know why all the cheddar cheese out here is white though?

Here was my apple pie with crumbles on top:

Alvin made apple sauce. We are able to buy cloves, ginger slices, and cinnamon out here.

Here is what is left of the apples:

I have dough for another pie crust in the freezer. I think I will make one more pie next week.

oooh, they all looked so good. I think the apples should keep at least for a week ,maybe a bit longer if in frig, besides yours are fresh from trees, keeps even longer.

hi bethany -- eric here. actually, the real question is "why is all the cheddar in the states yellow!?". coloring -- that's why. cheddar is naturally white ;)
