When my parents visited a few weeks ago, they brought me a new toy - a Zoom H2, which is a dual-microphone high-quality audio recorder. This will serve 2 purposes: 1) to record key language learning moments when we're out and about, for later listening and review; 2) to do some audio recording of the sounds of our lives out here, so that you can better experience what we experience.So, for our first "audio blog" entry, here is a recording of our Tuesday morning bike ride to school (edited down 8 minutes, 45 seconds). Oh yes, she did. That is not uncommon. I can always tell when she is trying to think of and perfect a joke... she is silent, but has this smile on her face like she's laughing at something but doesn't want to share (yet) what it is...
