Getting to Sleep

We're all a little short on sleep these days.
We're new to this parenting thing.  Our friends who are veteran parents probably read our blog posts and think, "Heh heh, maybe they'll figure it out someday."  Our friends who are not parents probably think, "When will these people finally write a post about something other than Meliya already?"

These last 3 weeks have been filled with lots of joyful moments and lots of frustrating ones.  The joyful moments come throughout the day at various times.  The frustrating ones... have usually been sometime between midnight and 3am.  But as much as I've been tired and frustrated in the middle of the night trying to understand why in the world Meliya is crying instead of sleeping, or sleeping instead of eating... when I see her in the morning and watch her wake up and stretch, I tend to forget the frustrations from the night before.

tell Bethany that she is an amazing superwoman to be in labor for 5 days and push for 3 hrs. also, our #2 had really bad eczema. we started using Vanicream lotion and it cleared it up. don't know if you can get it where you are. Baby 4-1-1 has been our lifesaver in terms of giving us direction in how to care for our girls. Happy parenting! Congrats.

Little Meliya is adjusting to a whole new world, just as you and B are. You'll figure it out :)...and then she'll move into a new phase to keep the "vetran parent" humble. You're doing great...she looks pretty content in the picture!
