Calligraphy

Alvin and I started our calligraphy class this afternoon. It was a fun and relaxing time. We definitely will get to know more of the stroke order of the characters.

So here is our first try at calligraphy. At the end of the semester, I will compare this one with the last paper we draw.

The calligraphy teacher would go around to each student to help them out. Each time he came to me though, he would say, "left hander, I don't know how to help you." Then he would just walk by me. Alvin thought that was so funny!

wow, you are using the brushes, fat or skinny? Just learning how to hold the brush the correct way takes time, similar to children learning to hold chopsticks, right? Have fun and you are doing "great". Yes, "lefties" is a challedge to the teachers in China.
