Last Thursday, Alvin and I went with some of our friends to the mountains that are 45 min. car ride from our place. The mountains actually remind me of Arizona because the trees are sparse, the mountains are not super towering, and both places are in the middle of a desert.

We were able to visit some cultural sites, visit some of the peaks, and then have some tea at a tea house. There was a moment when our group split up and one group was on one peak, while the camera guy was further away. The group on the peak thought it was reminiscent of the scene from My Sassy Girl. But since we don't know how to say "I'm sorry" in Korean, we talked about shouting, "haemul gochu pajeon" (spicy seafood pancake). Not as romantic, but oh well.

We also sang some songs with "mountains" in it while we were hiking. We thought of "Climb Every Mountain," and "The Climb." What other songs are there with "mountains" in it?
