My Heart Will Go On ... Outside My Window

A month ago, Alvin and I noticed something peculiar outside our window. Somebody drew a heart right outside our kitchen window. We had speculations on what it was going to be, but we thought that it might be a very small lake outside our window.

As time went along, a pathway was built across the front of our complex and right in front of the heart. Eventually, the heart was dug out and then filled with sand. This last weekend, Alvin and I decided to be mischievous and tag the sand. Since it happened to be the weekend before one of our niece's birthday, we thought we send her a birthday message. So after planning out our attack, we set up the camera (with remote) from our kitchen window and wrote in the sand with a broom handle.

Then we thought, let's leave the message here and see how long it will last. Today on day 4, I looked outside, and it was mostly there. Alvin and I find this so funny that is lasted for four days. We think most people who see it cannot understand what it says, and from down on the ground you can't even see it well. I wonder if people in the complex suspect it is us. The funny thing is that there are some ex-pats here with a son with the same name, but it is spelled differently. If we get caught for our vandalism, we can blame it on them. Just kidding.

Most likely this heart will not just be a huge sand box. If it becomes anything interesting, we will let you know.
