Years of Work

Nearly two weeks ago, I went through all of our files to organize them and get them ready for scanning. Among the files to organize were personal records, notes from grad school (for both of us), and then all my handwritten speaking prep notes. This last set was the part that I was most eager to have organized and scanned. So many times when I'm preparing for a message, I do my best work just sitting at a Starbucks, with the Book, a pad of paper, and a pen. So, through a lot of these years, I've had hardly any of my prep notes typed up.

Well, we knew that these wouldn't be coming with us, so I was really glad to be able to have them all scanned for future reference. Here's a picture of the folders with some of these message notes, primarily from Sunday mornings 2006-2008... each flag delineates a new message. I was surprised, after organizing all the notes together, to look back and see how often I'd spoken.
