The past week, when Alvin was feeling sick, we were just commenting how it has been awhile since I have been sick. I told a friend that during Christmas break, and he said that makes sense since I was running a lot, never lacked sleep, wasn't stressed from school and work, and my daily routine usually consists of just interacting with Alvin.
Well, today I woke up with a sore throat. In the afternoon, everything felt like a sick sore and I had a low fever. Alvin and I had this long discussion on what is a low fever and what is a high fever. I then suddenly remembered the last time I was sick. It was in May flying back from Seattle and having a layover in the airport. Man, being sick at the airport is no fun.
So I ended up sleeping all the afternoon, got up and ate (surprising I had a great appetite for jouk even though I was feeling under the weather), took a pain reliever, slept again, and now I feel awesome and full of energy.
Where's the party? I'm ready.
