Celebrating One Month of Koreanness

One of our team members here made BiBimBop, and Alvin fell in love with it. So we bought the magic sauce, and Alvin has been kindly suggesting that I make it. He even went so far to cut up all the vegetables the night before for me so I will be sure to make it.

So here are all the ingredients cooked:

We have been here for exactly a month, and the running joke is that we are Korean. Last week, one ex-pat asked our team if we could bring kimchee to a picnic. At first, we said, sure, but then we started wondering why they asked us. Eventually it came out that this person thought we were all Korean-Americans. Haha, funny. So to celebrate one month here, here is BiBimBop for our new Korean heritage.
